1 Timothy 4:12 – Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity
Our family has an assortment of twenty-somethings.
They are different in many ways but identical in other ways.
What is very interesting about the twenty-somethings in our family is that they all are goal oriented and for a few of them, they are taking advantage of getting educated and then stepping out on faith in careers that don’t necessarily put material success as their only purpose in life.
To know that these young adults are taking hold of life without second guessing themselves is really remarkable to see.
Now, as they take on the journey in adulthood, it will be their faith in God that will keep them going in the right direction.
They will of course have failures and disappointments but this is all about stepping out on faith.
As the twenty-somethings take up the reigns for their generation.
I’m excited to learn that many of them are continually forgoing materialism and are embracing service to those in need and using their gifts, skills and talents to be a blessing throughout the world.
One can only pray and hope that the millennial generation succeeds in impacting a world that is in need of change by being the change-factors and having their light shine towards God.
