Rants Don’t Make a Movement

Save me, O God! For the waters have come up to my neck. Psalm 69:1

This election season has seen a number of villains and too few heroes.

Let’s face it.

Rants don’t make a movement.

Yet, America has been adversely affected by Trump madness.

Those who support Donald Trump and those who resent him, have helped fueled a passion for this man who appears to be more popular than the movie, The Passion of the Christ.

Talk about desperate times calls for desperate measures.

Here is a prime example of what I am speaking about.

Last week Donald Trump campaign was scheduled to hold a rally in Chicago, but it was cancelled at the last-minute. Of course, Mr. Trump supporters were disappointed seeing that some had travelled a distance to hear him speak.

Meanwhile, a well-organized group of anti-Trump protesters were strategically situated in the arena, as well as, outside, ready to disrupt Trump, had his rally taken place.

However, the rally didn’t happen, and you would have thought the protestors and Trump supporters would depart and go on their merry way.

However, that didn’t happen.

The dispersion of the crowd became like an ancient arena where the pro-Trump gladiators were pushing against the oppressed warriors of the pro-Sanders forces.

Whatever message that was trying to be put forward by either group, they all were the losers because they each played each other’s hand in stirring up verbal insults and physical violence.

With human nature, there will always be people who want to be king of the jungle and roar louder than the rightful King.

If this election is bringing out the silent majority and also, the no hope majority, then America is in serious trouble.

And if we are not careful and refuse to pay heed to the signs and warnings going on right here in America, another 9/11 will surely happen but it will be of our own making.
